This site collects as little as it can.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join, so we can send you the newsletters you chose and let you sign in.
- Your name, only if you give it.
- Your membership status: free or paid, which tier, and whether a payment went through.
- Which newsletters you get, and basic email delivery data (whether an email was delivered or opened) so we can keep the list healthy.
Payments
Payments and tips are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site or Noah. Stripe's privacy policy covers what they do with your payment details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
- We do not run advertising trackers.
- We do not share your email with anyone except the services needed to run the site (the Ghost platform that hosts it, the email service that delivers newsletters, and Stripe for payments).
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of every email, or from your account page.
- Delete your account by emailing hello@noahpression.com. We will remove your data, except records we must keep for tax law if you paid.
- See what we hold by asking at the same address.
Cookies and third parties
The site uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to make the membership features work. No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers.
The fonts are served from this site, so reading a page sends nothing to Google or anyone else. Song pages embed videos from YouTube and players from Bandcamp; those load from YouTube and Bandcamp when you open the page, under their own privacy policies.
